Maureen Pritchard, from Green Bay, WI, pulled the greatest prank ever on her husband, Rob.
Like most of the best pranks, it’s clear that this one took a lot of planning, but the payoff was absolutely worth it. She saved up all the Amazon boxes from the previous six months, and while Rob was out, piled them up in the front of the home just in time for her husband to come home. He thought it was just a huge delivery.
“I have been planning an April Fool’s joke to play Rob for MONTHS!! I got him good! I wish I’d have continued to record right away when he came in the house,” she wrote on Facebook. “When he noticed me recording out the window I thought that he realized it was a joke, but when he came inside he kept asking,’What IS all that?!?’ I had to explain it was 6 months of saved boxes, from us, my parents, and my sister! The next video is his reaction. Anyone need any boxes?!? You have no idea how many people slowed or stopped in front of the house all day today!”
Judging from her husband’s reaction, it was worth the 6-month wait. Unsurprisingly, the prank obtained a fair amount of attention with more than 3,000 shares and thousands of comments. Facebook users were fairly pleased with the prank.
