Super Friendly Whale Returns Woman's Phone After She Accidentally Dropped It In The Ocean

A Beluga whale recently returned a woman’s cell phone after she accidentally dropped it into the ocean.

But this is no ordinary whale. She mysteriously showed up around Hammerfest, Norway and was fitted with a harness.

We don’t know anything about how she got there, but there is a suspicion that it might have been trained by the Russian navy.

Ina Mansika and her friends decided to head down to the water and see if they could see this alleged Russian spy.

“We laid down on the dock to look at it and hopefully get the chance to pat it,” Mansika told The Dodo. “I had forgotten to close my jacket pocket and my phone fell in the ocean. We assumed it would be gone forever, until the whale dove back down and came back a few moments later with my phone in its mouth!”

Ina continued, “Everyone was so surprised. We almost didn’t believe what we saw. I was super happy and thankful that I got my phone back.”
