What is your ultimate dream vacation? Is it backpacking around Europe or perhaps swimming with dolphins? If you are looking for a vacation spot that is secluded, all-inclusive, and includes scuba diving, this is the place for you! I was recently researching different vacation spots while day dreaming of my next getaway and came across the ultimate secluded getaway! The Villa On Dunbar Rock is the perfect place to dive, fish, and relax. Check out the pictures below and see all the amazing things that they have to offer.
The Villas of Dunbar Rock are located on the island of Guanaja in the Bay Islands of Honduras.

This particular island is about 70 miles north of Honduras and 12 miles from the island of Roatan.

The island’s water is crystal clear and supports the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is only second to the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia.

The Villas Of Dunbar Rock offer eight individual suites. These suites include luxuries such as a full baths, a walk in shower, a queen bed, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a private balcony.

That’s right! You get to watch the sunrises or sunsets from your very own private balcony.

The spoiling doesn’t just end with your room though. Included in your package price are all of your meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

This is probably a good thing, considering the villas are the only thing on this rock.

They offer different vacation packages depending on whether you want to go diving or not.

After a relaxing day, you can either relax on your private balcony or take in the scenery around you at the rooftop bar.

The Mesoamerican Reef extends from Mexico through Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.

The reef is home to a wide variety of sea life as well. There are more than 65 species of stony coral, 350 species of mollusk, and more than 500 species of fish.

In this reef, you’ll find many endangered or protected species as well which include the Green Turtle, Loggerhead Sea Turtle, Leatherback Turtle, and the Hawksbill Turtle. You’ll also find the Queen Conch, the West Indian Manatee, the Splendid Toadfish, the American Crocodile, the Morelet’s Crocodile, the Nassau Grouper, along with Elkhorn Coral and Black Coral.

One thing that makes the Villas On Dunbar Rock even more unique is that the reef is home to the world’s largest population of manatees. There are an estimated 1,000 to 1,500 manatees living here.

Near the northern areas of the Mesoamerican Reef, you’ll find the largest fish on the planet, which is the Whale Shark. They’re often spotted alone, but if you see them in a group it’s usually to eat or to mate.

When staying at the Villas On Dunbar Rock, you’ll arrive on a Saturday and stay for seven nights. The villas are not open year round, so you must plan ahead.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. And while I’m not much of a scuba diver, just sitting at the rooftop bar with a drink in my hand, reading a book, and taking in the surroundings for eight days sounds like an ideal vacation to me! Not a stress in the world especially since your stay is all-inclusive.
