Another story on the love between a dog and his owner. Except this one, is a little more touching. This one includes a dog named Cila and a man named Sergeant Jason Bos. Read below to learn more about this veteran and dog.
For over 5 years, Sergeant Jason Bos worked with this dog named Cila in Iraq.

“No one could work with this dog, and yet, she listened to me. I don’t know why she listed to me. Maybe it’s my inflection, maybe it’s my personality,” said Sergeant Bos. On base, they would spend their off-duty time together at the kennel. Bos was forced to retired due to back injury and headed back home to Michigan. Meanwhile, Cila returned to active duty.

Sergeant Bos didn’t think he’d ever see his best friend again. But 2 years later, the kennel master on base contacted Bos to let him know that Cila was up for retirement. So he contacted the American Humane Association and Mission K09 Rescue to see if they could help with the cost of flying Cila from Germany to Chicago.

After a 9 hour flight, Cila arrived in Chicago. I don’t know who was more excited!
