How To Trap Your Cat In 3 Easy Steps And Yes, It Really Works

Reddit user admancb recently shared these hilarious pictures of his cat being trapped in a circle. It has since started an internet sensation called ‘Trick Your Cat With A Circle‘.

After a few users on Reddit and Imgur noticed that their cats are attracted to circles, submissions poured in of other cat owners trying these low-tech traps on their feline friends.

It’s pretty simple.. First, make a circle. 75% of cats will walk to the circle and stay there. No explanation at all. Cats are attracted to circles for some reason and chances are very high if you make a circle, your cat will be compelled to trap itself inside of it. Seriously, try it if you have a cat.

Second, take a picture of your cat in the cat circle. Third, share your pictures with your friends! Amazingly enough, some cats did stay in these circles while others were a little more wild.

Start with a circle made out of anything. It can be a cord or tape.

Watch your cat inspect the circle, then sit in the middle of the cat circle. Seriously.

The circle does offer a pretty decent view.

Here’s another submission of the cat do the same thing when the circle is made of red tape.

The cat must inspect the circle first. It definitely doesn’t want to fall for any tricks.

Well, guess the cat likes the red tape as well.

The cat looks pretty content in the circle.

Time to test if the cat prefers a big or small circle.

I wonder why it went for the small one first?

It is probably because cats love to sit in the smallest spot possible and make themselves cozy.

I can’t believe that this actually worked. Can anyone explain this? Please?!
