Across the world, it seems there is a movement in the housing industry. It is a movement where people are wanting to save money, avoid unnecessary space, and live happily ever after. The movement is something I would like to call the Tiny House Movement. We have seen people living in houses the sizes of sheds, building houses in a fairytale rock on the mountain, or even houses that people can put on a trailer and move wherever they please. This house is no different. When an architect was given this plot, he created a house like no other. Just wait until you see what it has in store!
Architect Kota Mizuishi of Mizuishi Architect Atelier decided to do the unthinkable.

He build a house on a triangular plot using only 594 square feet.

From all angles, the house seems small and not suitable for a family to live in.

But to our surprise, the house is actually quite spacious.

This unique home was designed for a family of three with an extra loft.

It has 2 stories and enough space to live comfortably.

The bottom level is open and full of glass windows allowing a lot of natural light.

To save space, you will notice virtually no doors and limited walls.

You will notice instead of walls, curtains are used to separate the rooms.

The curtains can be opened to give the feeling of more space.

The kitchen is also very spacious with high ceilings to give the space more depth.

As you can see, the kitchen has every aspect of a normal kitchen, with a unique shape. It includes an oven, sink, stove, microwave, and more.

With this tiny home, you expect the bathroom to be claustrophobic, but obviously we were wrong.

Here is the general layout of the tiny house, full of wide open space.

Although the plot is tiny, this house proves to be different.

Here is what the house looks like from the outside, blended in with the rest of the neighborhood. Because this house is so small, it has a lot of land surrounding it that can be used for a garden or play area for the kids as well.

Would you live in this tiny house? I know I would. I think it contains everything a house needs with plenty of space too. Plus this house has views of the nearby river making it even more desirable.
