Artist Recreates His Own Childhood Drawings 20 Years Later And They Are Hilariously Disturbing

We all had childhood dreams of being something special to us when we grew up. Many kids want to be doctors or astronauts. Firemen or even a fairy princess. We expressed these emotions in almost everything we did. In our fun outfits, our toys and more than anything our sketches. Telmo Pieper, a Dutch muralist now, is no exception. When he was 4 years old he decided he wanted to draw for a living. He became an artist and truly did follow his childhood dream. He was going through some of the drawings he did when he was 4 years old and decided to recreate them using his advanced photoshop skills. He used the imagination he would have had when he was 4. He made them look as real as possible and they turned out amazing. Slightly bizarre but awesome none the less. Check these out.

More Info: Telo Pieper

My favorite is the shoe shaped whale and the shark. That shark would be one scary ocean creature! Looking at the original drawings you can tell he recreated them exactly as he imagined them as a 4-year-old.
