Are you ready to explore other worlds on the edge of the galaxy? Star Wars Land is the newest addition to Disneyland and the theme park looks so awesome. Star Wars fanatics are so looking forward to December 2019 because the 9th and final episode of the Star Wars film franchise will hit theaters come December 19.
But before that happens, Disneyland will be completing its most expensive project to date – Star Wars Land, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge.
Galaxy Edge will cost approximately $1 billion to complete.
It is projected to be complete May 31st.
There will be several restaurants, including ones that will actually serve alcohol.
These arial photos were recently shared on Twitter by user bioreconstruct and he’s obviously a huge fan of theme parks in general.
Developers say they were mostly inspired by the architecture of Middle Eastern cities including Jerusalem and Istanbul.

The news about the Galaxy Edge first broke in 2015, there are currently two Star Wars themed lands being built, one in Anaheim, California which will open on May 31st, and another one in Orlando, Florida opening on August 29th. The land Orlando will be the largest single-themed land expansion ever made at a Disney park coming in at a whopping 14 acres.
