You’ve gotta love caring mothers. Their love for their children knows no bounds. They are the person we run too when you we are sick or scared and they comfort us when we are feeling down. If you had a mother who loved you, you should feel extremely fortunate, because not everyone has that. While mothers can bring us great joy, they can also be HUGE source of embarrassment. I’m not sure there is another family member who has more ability to embarrass you than your mom. She knows things about you that you don’t even know about yourself! It can be a BIG mistake to mess with her. So when this son decided to play a joke on his family, his mom made sure he knew who would always be the master of comedy!
Dalton Ross headed off to jolly ol’ England to study abroad at Belmont University. He knew his family might miss him, so he decided to send them a little gag gift to help with their loneliness.

Dalton just expected his family to set the cutout in the living room till he got back. His mom Susan Talley, had different plans though. She decided take the cutout everywhere she went and take hilarious pictures of it!

Some quality mother and son time. Now that’s just beautiful to see.

She took her sons likeness everywhere!

This would have been an interesting appointment to say the least.

He’s in awe of the amazing sandwiches at Subway.

Cardboard Dalton even played some sports!

He got to spend some quality time with the family too.

This one is by far my favorite. You almost can’t tell it’s just a cardboard cutout.

This one looks almost like it could actually be real!

Dalton even got to participate in an Easter egg hunt. He seems to be doing well, although the eggs are pretty terribly hidden.

Every time I look at these pictures I crack up. They are pretty hilarious, and the fact that his mom came up with the idea is pretty darn genius. We sometimes don’t give our parents enough credit for how funny they can actually be. Different generations find different styles of humor funny, but I think we can all agree that this prank by a mom is a classic.
