Stealing the hearts of everyone who passes by, this 8-week old Labrador puppy smiles at anyone who walks by his kennel. The puppy, named Burreaux, even flashes his pearly whites each time he receives a compliment from someone. The puppy’s unique talent was first noticed by a shelter volunteer, Sarah Walton, when she was telling him how good of a boy Burreaux has been. Each compliment that Sarah gave him would result in a large and affable grin from the pup.
Burreaux’s irresistible smile quickly grabbed the attention of the entire staff at the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
With that charming of a smile his stay at the humane society was destined to be short lived. Soon after Burreaux’s arrival to the shelter he caught a nasty cold, though.
Fearing for his life Burreau was quickly rushed to a local animal hospital and was diagnosed with Parvo, a highly contagious and lethal virus in dogs.
Fortunately for the young pup, he made a speedy recovery and was soon back up for adoption at the rescue!
“Burreaux wants a home so bad that he’s always smiling, trying to cute it up, so we took [a] video and now it’s going viral.” Sarah told the Dodo, commenting on a video that she took of him smiling.
Melting the hearts of several thousands of viewers, Burreaux and his adorable grin quickly became an internet sensation.
This viral video of Burreaux smiling led to his quick adoption into a forever home.
