When it comes to animals who are in captivity. There is only so much they can do to stay active. This is the unfortunate part of what zoos inherently do. They can be tools to keep certain endangered species alive. At the same time however, they also seem like prisons. There are so many times I’ve been to a zoo where the animals look incredibly sad. They don’t have any of the room they used too. They weren’t meant to be caged up. The Polar Bear in this video I think was feeling a little bit of cabin fever from his habitat at the zoo, when a patron showed up. Somehow a push up contest developed, and it turned into an amazing video. Check it out below. I could watch it over and over.
This Polar Bear seems to be having a great time! I’m sure there aren’t too many people who are volunteering to get in its enclosure and try to get it to exercise. Not having the room to roam that they do in their natural habitat, they probably don’t get too much exercise. This one definitely seems playful, but they should always be considered dangerous animals and left alone in the wild.
