Eric Freeman works at a Georgia-based IT firm. His co-worker asked him to watch her plant for her. “I thought, I’ll take a couple of stupid pictures. She’ll roll her eyes and laugh, whatever,” Freeman said. But just a couple funny pictures with a plant turned into much more. In fact from the looks of it, he just might love this plant.
At first it was just the normal hanging out at the office drinking some coffee.
Nothing too exciting.
All of a sudden things took a turn.
Adventures started to happen.
The fresh air and the views are wonderful for an office plant.
A little hide and seek.
A long walk.
I’m almost positive it would run away without its leash.
More fun at the playground.
A brave walk without the leash.
Just playing on the tracks.
Hanging out by a beautiful fountain.
When it was time to head back to the office Freeman let the plant drive. Probably not the best idea.
More fun to be had back at the office.
At this point, you might start to wonder if this guy ever does any actual work.
The visit to HR was inevitable.
But that didn’t stop the fun.
Because light sabers are too fun to resist.
Finally there was some work to be done n Freeman’s big presentation.
There was a short break to make some sweet magic.
The presentation was a huge hit, of course.
So the plant received a treat for all of its hard work.
The plant then needed some rest after such a long weekend full of activities.
Freeman’s posted his plant photos on Reddit and had never imagined it would go viral. He said his office still talks about the funny pictures with a plant and makes a lot of plant-based Puns. I personally hope Freeman gets to visit the plant often and maybe spend a few holidays with it. They obviously had an amazing bond.
