A few years ago, there were 58 people on flight GE235, in route to Kinmen which is near the Chinese province of Xiamen, when the plane they were traveling on suddenly veered out of control and careened into a river below. Multiple vehicles were driving on the road below, next to the river, with dash cameras. They captured these incredibly tragic events as they were about to unfold right in front of their eyes. It looks as though it’s right out of a movie. It is very real and has shocked the world. Below are images and videos of a plane crash in Taiwan that may be disturbing to some.
The TransAsia flight had just taken off from Taipei, Taiwan when the ATR-72 twin engine plane plunged into a nearby river striking a taxi on the freeway first. This horrible event was captured on dash cameras equipped on the vehicles following the taxi.
The plane’s wing clipped a taxi as it careened out of control into the river injuring the two people in the car.
43 people have been confirmed dead and 17 injured (including the two in the taxi). The airplane was serviced less than a year ago so the reason for the wreck is still unknown.
The rescue was broadcast across Taiwan live, ripping at the emotions of the citizens, families and friends. Families of the victims have been very emotional and angry at the way the airline is handling the situation. They feel that the airlines are keeping them in the dark about the details.
Here is a scene of cranes lifting the destroyed wreckage out of the water. Investigators are on the scene. They have obtained the “black boxes” which should contain vital information on the details of this terrible plane crash in Taiwan.
Well, new dash cam footage shows the horrific crash from two different dash cams and it’s unbelievable. Warning: these videos might be disturbing to some.
These videos look like they’re directly out of an action movie. The reality of what just took place sets in quickly, as you consider the events that just unfolded. My heart goes out to the families of the victims on this horrifying flight. I can’t imagine the fear that they went through before impact and the shock of what just happened. I am grateful that there were survivors however, this is a nightmarish day that these passengers, residents and families will be stuck remembering for the rest of their lives.
