When Imgur user kcrochet bought his house, he realized that the previous owner had taken out the hot tub leaving him a wide open deck. Being an obvious eyesore, he decided to do something awesome with it.

The deck was 10.5′ x 10.5′ and made out of Tex decking.

The deck already had electricity ran to it, but he decided to run a gas line to it.

He carefully outlined the plans with tape and appliances.

The framing begins.

It’s starting to take shape with more appliances.

He continued framing more.

Because the previous hot tub had a 220v AC, he had an electrician convert it into two 11v circuits for normal appliances.

Nothing is complete without some music.

He then began wrapping everything in cement board after installing the lights and speakers.

He then installed the sink.

Don’t forget the small compartment for a trash can.

He made sure all the appliance were nice and snug.

It now somewhat resembles a kitchen.

He poured in cement counter tops.

Time to start the roof.

Here is a bird’s eye view of the progress so far.

After the framing of the roof was complete, he used plywood to finish the roof.

He had to build a cupola to let any smoke out.

Time for stucco.

The final result: An awesome outdoor kitchen!
You could literally use this kitchen for everything during warm seasons. With full appliances, BBQ, music and lights, I’m sure this outdoor kitchen is a huge hit for parties.
