Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s really hard to get a better cast than Dan Aykroyd, Rick Moranis, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Harold Ramis. That’s what is happening though, as Sony Pictures Entertainment is attempting to reboot the classic film with an all female cast. The new casts consists of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig are household names already. They are considered two of the funniest women on-screen right now and rightfully so. Their films have done extremely well in the past few years and they should provide consistent laughs in this remake of an absolutely legendary film.
The Children at Boston’s Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts noticed that filming for the new Ghostbusters movie was going on nearby. These children decided to get their attention in a way that any true Ghostbuster would recognize.
The four stars of the new movie decided to pay a visit to everyone at the hospital, and boy, was it a big hit!
They posed for pictures with anyone that wanted them, and took their time talking to each person in the room.
“We cannot thank them enough for the happiness and excitement they created”, said Brooke Hynes who is the VP of Communications and Public Affairs at Tufts.
The cast visited people of all ages, from teens to little babies.
What a wonderful experience for these kids who have gone through so much. It’s always nice when celebrities take the time out of their day to show their fans they really appreciate their support. I’m pretty sure all these actresses gained quite a few fans from this little trip.
