When I think of a cat, I think of a loving, sometimes cuddly, yet lazy animal. One that enjoys sunbathing, sleeping under the covers, and always finding comfort in odd spaces. That is not the case of this amazing cat, Millie who is truly one of a kind.
Meet Millie. She met her owner about 4 years ago & was immediately attracted to his shoulders. It was love at first sight.

But Millie is unlike any other cat. She does like explore and reach new heights.

But by heights, I mean mountain tops.

According to her owner Craig, “Millie has all the qualities a good climbing partner should have. She never complains, no matter how bad it gets. She takes big risks and doesn’t complain when they don’t pan out.”

But she also knows when to stop. When she’s done, she’s done. She’ll find a cave or climb a tree and won’t move until she’s rested.

“We camp in my truck; she peed in there one night, but she caught a mouse in there one night, too.”

Craig states that Millie is the best partner he has ever had.

He says Millie will push him to new heights, encourage him, and motivate him.

“It’s a nice bonus that we enjoy the same kinds of climbing and prefer the same areas. I’m weak, and she doesn’t have opposable thumbs, so we tend to like similar routes.”

Together they have been to Moe’s Valley, Indian Creek, Ferguson Canyon, Eastern Reef in The Swell, Stansbury Island many times, to Moab towers, slot canyons, and many more places.

And don’t worry Millie is always safe with her own harness.

What an adorable story. I love this cat and I love that Craig absolutely loves him too. It is inspiring and I think this cat has hiked more than me.
