It is very hard for me to imagine how a once beautiful mansion can be left abandoned with no real interest in the property. I mean, it has an indoor pool, basketball court, tennis court and a huge, open layout. Oh, and did I mention it once belonged to boxing champion Mike Tyson’s mansion too!

Things were not always so good for Iron Mike, who was jailed in 1992 for rape and went to jail again in 1999 on assault charges, after which he was broke and struggling. Because of his financial problems, Tyson was forced to sell his 19,500-square-foot mansion on 58 acres in Southington, Ohio, where he’d lived since the 1980s.
Let’s take a tour of this immense property and the weird things that were found inside.
Here is the general layout of the property.

And the gate that leads up to the mansion.

The outdated kitchen

One of the bedrooms

Oh, and outside is complete with tiger cages

A custom basketball court

Can’t complain about an indoor swimming pool.

An indoor pool that even has a sundae bar.

The pool is amazing though

How about some old school light controls.

This is one of the living rooms, notice the gold ceiling.

How about the bright red carpet?

Zebra print carpet – one of a kind.

It’s no secret that Mike Tyson had a very unique style.

At least the outside is gorgeous.

It’s crazy to think that someone would let such a massive property go to waste. At one point Mike Tyson did list it on eBay for 3 million dollars, but nobody bought it.
The famous mansion is now being turned into a church.
