Artist and photographer Michael Paul Smith has spent hours upon hours photographing one special town that he holds very dear to his heart. There is something that always drew him to it, and the images he created are simple, but stunning.

They glow with small-town charm and innocence, reminiscent of days and decades past.

The town he photographs is quaint and beautiful.

There’s not much going on in these pictures, but it’s obvious that this town is nothing but charm.

But when you zoom out, you instantly realize it’s not real.

Michael builds custom models and cities.

He creates very realistic settings.

Most of what he creates are from a very vintage era in time.

He uses real life background settings to include in his photos.

He started this hobby to perfect his photography.

He actually has mimicked the town that he grew up in.

He says this is what America looked like when he was a kid.

He sets up most of them just on card tables.

Then uses real like surrounds such as mountains, trees, etc.

The final photos and settings has to be just perfect to look real.

The final photos are very convincing that they are real.

He’s created several different settings.

He enjoys the selfies that come with it.

I would love to actually live in this town if it existed.

If you only saw the photos, I think anyone would be convinced that this was an actual vintage town that used to exist at one point in time. Check out his website to see even more pictures.
