Losing a pet can be one of the tougher things we have to deal with in our lives. They become part of our family. Pets are a big part of the majority of our lives and they deserve to be remembered and honored for the innocent, unconditional love they express. In order to help keep those memories alive a company called Davenport Memorial Glass has come up with a beautiful idea to keep close to our hearts. Something beautiful and meaningful. Take a look at these memorial glass pieces below.
Davenport Memorial Glass specializes in beautiful reminders of our departed loved pets by infusing the ashes into stunning glass art.

They can come up with almost any idea your heart desires to memorialize your loved ones.

They can make them small enough to carry with you always.

Or something that you can proudly display and be reminded of.

“Ash heart and pendant. Made with the ashes of a beautiful young girl born to rock”

This beautiful marble looks incredible!

“Our goal is to physically capture a moment, to create a keepsake that brings back a memory,” Davenport writes on their website. “Nothing will compare to the time spent with your loved one, but we hope to aid in treasuring them and remembering the precious time you had together.”

“They love the work I do for them and the meaning behind it. As each day goes on, I become more and more grateful for the people in my life and the time I get to spend with them. Doing this type of work really highlights the love in my life. I look forward to many more years of spreading joy and comfort through memorial glass.”

The artist believes in forming a connection with his clients in order to gain a little insight into their bond with their lost pet in order to gain inspiration to create something meaningful.

This is one of my favorites. I love the lit up display.

Davenport has a very unique process to incorporate the ashes into the glass. “The ashes put a lot of stress into the glass while working with it, making it very difficult to work with,” he explained. “I’ve had many glass artists contact me and ask how I do it. I’d be up for teaching a class one day.”
