A man found himself in an odd situation recently. Mr Hsu says he fell asleep with his Apple AirPods in and when he woke up, he couldn’t find one of them.
He then used the ‘Find My AirPods’ feature that allowed him to track down the missing AirPod and it showed they were in the same room as him.
He explained: “The map showed that my AirPod was at home, and I could hear the ‘beep, beep’ sound, which seemed to follow me around the room.
“But I checked under my blanket and looked around but couldn’t find it – then I realised the sound was coming from my stomach!”
And then, for the hard of thinking, he also added: “I swallowed my Airpod!”
Although he wasn’t in any pain, Hsu took a trip to Kaohsiung Municipal United Hospital where doctors told him the small device was inside his belly.

The doctors gave him a laxative and told him to monitor his poops, because if he doesn’t poop it out, he would need surgery.
The next day, After digging through his poo, Hsu successfully found the Airpod.

Surprisingly, the AirPod still worked perfectly fine.

Yes, he actually dug through his poop, found the AirPod, cleaned it off and put it back in his ear.
