A couple who met on the popular dating site Tinder has quite the story of how their 4th date went. Max and Alyssa shared on a series of TikTok videos how their match on Tinder resulted in Max helping her through labor.
Alyssa shares how being matched with Max took a very unexpected turn in just a weeks time. On their 3rd or 4th date, she explains how she was supposed to pick up Max from the airport but then her water broke.
After she called him to tell him that she couldn’t pick him up because she was going into labor, Max then took a cab to his house to unpack his things and then immediately rushed to be by her side in the hospital.
In the TikTok Videos, she says, “But what if we end up breaking up in a week’s time?’ We only had a couple of dates. We [didn’t] know each other very well at this stage. His family didn’t know about me or anything like that. But long story short, he ended up coming and basically being my biggest support. I was 19 and I was alone. Max stayed with me because [the hospital staff] thought that he was the dad, [so he could] stay in the maternity unit. And he didn’t protest anything when they did call him dad. He just went along with it.”
Max also said, “I was just hoping that they were both okay in the surgery and everything like that. I guess the big thing is, like, … was he going to come out like an old man, was he going to come out super cute? Did he come out like Megamind? I don’t know.”
Max also took a week off work to help Alyssa with the baby.
