Nonprofit Little free Library is an organization that helps build communities by encouraging people to install book exchanges in the neighborhoods they live in.
It over 10 years now, they have helped over 75,000 libraries gets installed in 88 different countries.
One librarian, Sharalee Armitage Howard decided to take this one step further. Not only is she a librarian, she’s also an artist and a former bookbinder from Idaho.
When her family recently chopped down a 110-year-old cottonwood tree in their yard, she decided to not let the trunk go to waste and installed a tiny library inside of it. They carved out the inside of the trunk and even added a single roof.
