Meet Ben Carpenter. Ben is an engineering student in Florida and an avid cosplayer. Unfortunately, Ben was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy which can make cosplaying somewhat of a challenge. Ben is confined to a motorized chair that he uses to get around. Having a giant machine constantly there behind you limits your cosplay options quite a bit. Until he had probably one of the most brilliant ideas any cosplayer has ever had. He decided to use his chair to his advantage and incorporate it into his cosplay design. What he created is one of the best ideas turned into reality I have ever seen. Ben doesn’t let his disability get in the way of his creativity and ingenuity. He took the situation he was put in and made the absolute best out of it. As I mentioned before, Ben is an engineering student, and he really loves welding. He put both of those skills to use when creating his one of a kind cosplay creation. You are seriously going to freak when you see what this kid did for this ultimate Mad Max cosplay!
