We have all done some pretty stupid things in our lives, nobody is perfect. But some things just shouldn’t be avoided at all costs and we should all know better. Like shining a laser pointer at an aircraft, probably not a bright idea. Watch below. Chris Vowles was with friends, drinking in the back garden of a house, when he targeted the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter with a laser pointer. The crew was disoriented as the green light bounced around through the cabin. They used powerful thermal imaging cameras to locate the lasers source. They found Vowles laughing and toasting the successful laser attack with fellow drinkers. Watch what happens next below:
I think it is safe to say Chris learned his lesson. He was sentenced to a seven months prison sentence and 250 hours of community service with countless fees as well. Pulling pranks can be fun and entertaining but something like this has its consequences. I don’t think he will be trying that stunt again.
