Justin Gigliello recently went to Disney World for vacation with his family.
During their eight-day trip, the dad and volunteer firefighter from Connecticut decided to take his 6-year-old daughter, Lyla, into the lobby inside the Grand Floridian resort.
This lobby holds a very special spot in Justin’s heart, because it is where he used to listen to songs whenever his parents took him to Disney World as a little boy. Lyla was so eager to continue her beloved daddy’s tradition.
The pianist played for its resort guests and those dining in the surrounding restaurants, but nobody was super tuned into the music. Justin and Lyla started dancing, but when the music stopped, she approached the pianist with a request.
Because her dad loves to sing, Lyla asked if he could play something for him to sing along to.
“What song?” The pianist requested, according to People. “Ave Maria,” she promptly responded.
Within seconds, Justin unleashed his flourishing operatic voice, right there at the center of the lobby. Pretty soon, people were emerging out of the gift shops and restaurants just to hear him. Check out the video below:
As it turns out, Justin began singing at age 15. His mom signed him up with a voice teacher who specialized in opera, and from that point, Justin analyzed voice performance at the Boston Conservatory.
Justin’s impromptu performance is now going viral, however, the best part is watching the look on Lyla’s face as she watches her daddy, shining with pride.
