Chinese artist Liu Bolin has been disappearing for years now. Using his own body as a canvas, he paints himself into the background. Beginning as performance art in 2005, his work includes a series titled, “Hiding in the City” and “The Invisible Man.” Collected below are several of his performances from the past few years and some of them, you really need to look hard to find him.

I can definitely see why some of these took so long to create. He blends into the surroundings almost flawlessly, making it a true piece of art. I am always amazed at what people can do when they really put their minds to it. This is probably because I don’t have a creative bone in my body!
