The relationship between jail guards and inmates is not usually one that is filled with much respect. Guards are there to keep these men safe and under control, and most of these men don’t like to be controlled based on the fact that they are in jail. We’ve all seen videos of out of control prisoners trying everything in their power to overthrow the authority as jails and prisons. You don’t often see prisoners coming to the aid of the people who are charged with keeping them in line however. That is until now. Check out the story below.
The inmates were in a holding cell when they saw the lone guard watching them slump over in his chair. They knew something was wrong.
These two men and other inmates busted out of the holding cell, and began banging on doors and walls to try to get some help. They did this knowing full well they could possibly be shot for trying to start a riot.
They were able to attract enough attention that paramedics were able to arrive in time to save this man’s life from a heart attack.

These men are absolute heroes. They may be in jail for crimes they committed, but they were able to help save a human beings life. While it may not help with their sentencing by a judge. They can take heart knowing that they are not truly evil people. They saw someone in need of help and jumped to action, even risking their own safety to do so. For that, they should be applauded.
