Adults and children usually both love Christmas. It feels like there is something in the air that makes it magical from receiving and giving gifts to spending time with your loved one. One of my favorite memories is seeing what was in my Christmas stocking.
Well, the Methodist Children’s hospital in Texas decided to make stockings even better by putting newborn babies in stockings. They do this for all babies born in December.

Parents that have babies born in the month of December get a special surprise of their newborn baby being wrapped up in a Christmas stocking.

The Methodist Children’s Hospital also decorate the adorable new babies with Christmas hats.

The hospital has had a tradition of doing this for 50 years now.

The cute stockings are made by a volunteer group called the Bluebirds of Methodist Hospital.

Several other hospitals liked the idea and have also started doing the same.

Several of the new parents continue using the same stocking that their newborn came home in to stuff for their child every year.




Look how cute they all are!

Once all the babies are lined up, the volunteers form a Christmas tree design as shown in the video below:
