Drunk driving is a stupid decision no matter what context it is made in. It is never ok to put someone else’s life in danger simply so you don’t have to pay for a taxi or find another way home. Simply put, Don’t do it, it’s not worth it. Now that we have that out-of-the-way, let’s review what we have in front of us. So this guy walks out to his front yard one morning expecting to go through his normal routine of going to a job he hates with co-workers he probably hates even more. Well much to his surprise, he has a present waiting for him in the form of his wife’s completely smashed car in a mangled mess. Whoever hit them graciously left their front bumper lodged in the Honda Civic’s wheel well. That’s about the best thing to wake up too in the world right? Wrong, because it just happened to me actually and it really sucks. Check out the photographic evidence for the rest of this story about a hit and run idiot who obviously didn’t have any clue what they were doing.
This is the damage reddit user nerdcore72 came out to on the fateful morning in question. That’ll buff out right? Doubtful! In fact the damage looks pretty bad!
He had an inkling that the hit and run idiot might live in the neighborhood since they live in a residential area and not many people would be there other than to go home. So he decides to take a stroll down the street for a little investigating to see what he can find, and wouldn’t ya know it, his neighbors car was partially under a tarp. I’m guessing that the car wasn’t under a tarp previously.
I’d say it’s pretty clear at this point what happened. The guy was even kind enough to leave his bumper lodged in the Honda Civic’s wheel well.
Evidence of what happened the night before wasn’t that hard to find as there were empty beer cans sitting in the front seat of the car. Good job, genius.
This mystery wasn’t much of a problem to solve and the hit and run driver was just a few houses down the road. This guys neighbor seems like an idiot which makes things a lot easier too. He did a pretty piss poor job of trying to cover up the evidence. I mean, seriously man, at least take the beer cans out of the damn front seat. Now I am going to repeat this one more time for the people who don’t catch on as quick. Don’t drink and drive. Ever.
