If you’ve ever been in a car accident, you know that it can ruin your entire day, your week, or even possibly your month! But I think the worst type of people are the ones that are involved in a hit and run accident. A hit and run is a terrible thing for the victim. Not only do they come out to a car that has been damaged or destroyed, but they are left with the hassle and paperwork of dealing with their insurance company, with no help from the person that caused the accident. Here is a situation where the person who caused the hit and run accident was in too much of a hurry to cover up their tracks.
As you can see in the pic below, the car was swiped along the side. It did some pretty good damage, and no note was left either apologizing, leaving their insurance information, or taking a little bit of blame.
Even though getting in an accident is never fun, this person definitely got some retribution. The person that hit the car managed to leave their license plate behind.
I’m guessing the call with the police went something like this:
Car Owner: I’d like to report a hit and run.
Dispatcher: Okay, did you happen to get the plate of the car that caused the accident.
Car Owner: You could say that.
