Piloting an aircraft is no easy feat. It takes a lot of skill and practice to achieve a measurable and notable amount of mastery. This is why so many people resort to the RC versions of aircraft piloting. Don’t be mistaken, just because you’re not operating a machine that weighs thousands of pounds doesn’t mean that it’s infinitely easier to master. Fulfilling your aeronautical fantasies through the mastery of an RC equivalent can still be quite dangerous, especially if you’re not paying attention. You have got to be constantly aware of your surroundings and the surroundings of your aircraft. No, this isn’t another video about someone flying their drone into a power line or flying too close to a monkey or even bothering wildlife, like a kangaroo. The video below is of a man that was both unaware of his surroundings AND the surroundings of his aircraft as he executes what can only be called a helicopter headshot. Watch as the cosmic forces align to deliver a bit of instant karma to someone that definitely needed to pay more attention.
HA HA HA! You have just got to love the slo-motion just before the moment of impact of the helicopter headshot. This guy thinks he is some sort of drone racer, but fails miserably as he unintentionally kicks his own butt. Maybe this guys should invest in something a little easier to operate like the Lily Camera.
