Most beds leave a lot to be desired, they are all boring and monotonous; designed for one purpose — Sleep. While a fancy Tempur-Pedic or Purple Mattress is great and will certainly enhance your sleep, from the outside all beds are really the same. While some mattresses may be more comfortable than others, beds never actually seem to enhance the room. They are simply sad white rectangles that you push against some random wall, and if you are really lucky, you might have a fancy headboard with some cool colors or designs to to accompany your boring rectangle. There is nothing very eye-catching about that, and kids have it the worst! Understandably, most parents do not want to buy their child some ornate king-sized bed set, that is impractical and a waste of money. The kid will not appreciate it, let alone think twice about the bed set you buy them. As a result, kids get stuck with a more lifeless version of the already boring bed set that we are all used to sleeping on.
Seriously, do you think children actually find this bed exciting? Not a chance.
Children are teeming with creativity! They should be given a bed that will fuel their imagination and still retains the functionality of a bed, it should be nice to sleep on but also exciting to play with. So if you are trying to really spoil your kid and finally get rid of that boring rectangle in their room; we have found the perfect solution for you! Along with three other beds that your children have been dreaming of!
The ultimate bed: A helicopter. What could endorse a child’s imagination more than a flying machine?
It comes with a realistic joystick and dials, just like the real thing!
Each bed is hand crafted by Dragons of Walton Street. It takes them around 20 weeks to make each one!
Despite its large size, this helicopter bed does not actually weigh all that much, it is made from lightweight fiberglass.
Unfortunately, Dragons of Walton Street does not have a list price for the helicopter bed. You must get in contact with them to discuss options and pricing.
Dragons of Walton Street is the king of children’s beds! They have practically perfected this one…
Modeled after the Aston Martin db5 in the James Bond films, Dragons of Walton Street call it the “VC150”.
They have the price for this one listed on their website. . .
. . It will set you back nearly £20,000 ($23,000 USD). If you want the optional sound deck added, the final figure is closer to £25,000 ($28,000).
But for that price you could buy your kid a brand new 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and save $1,000 dollars!
Or better yet, for the same price as this Aston Martin bed, you could buy yourself a REAL Aston Martin DB9… What would you choose?
But for whatever reason, if you are still interested in buying one of Dragons of Walton Street’s bespoke beds, you will be delighted to learn that they have more varieties of the custom souped-up car beds.
They call this one the “RC79”, most likely modeled after a Ferrari F40.
The RC79 comes in at a more modest price of £10,000 ($11,500).
The extreme price of these beds is somewhat justified in their high quality craftsmanship and built in features, though.
Each bed built by Dragons of Walton Street features a set of car keys and working headlights.

What do you make of these luxurious child’s beds? They sure are awesome, but is the price justifiable in any way? Maybe if I had all of Jeff Bezos’s billions, I might consider it. Even then, I could think of infinitely better ways to spend $25,000, like donating to a charity. I guess my children are just always going to be stuck sleeping on boring old rectangles.
