Meet George, he is an 8-month-old munchkin/exotic short-hair cat. Just don’t tell him that he is a cat. I am pretty sure he thinks he is a human, or a small furry child perhaps, but he’s definitely not a feline. George has been standing on his own two legs, and resting in that position, for his whole life. That is according to his owner, Andrew Park of Austin, Texas. I don’t know if it’s George standing around, or the look on his face, or the combination of the two that I can’t stop laughing at. Reddit user Egzo shared a photo of George to the Aww Subreddit section, and it didn’t take long for it to go viral. After looking through the pictures, it’s not hard to see why. He has been compared to Garfield, as well as the actor Wilford Brimley. I can see a little bit of both, and a whole lot more.
I think he is trying to blend in.

Cats are known for their excellent balance.

I feel like he is taunting the dog.

He probably gets to see a lot more than the average cat sitting this way.

I think it would be weird to walk into a room and find him just hanging out like this.

His owners must be completely used to it by now.

The glass of water makes him look even more human.

This one may be slightly creepy.

But then you see this one and it is totally adorable.

Playful kitten George!

He looks a little stressed. Maybe if he laid down and took a cat nap he would feel better.

As far as George’s standing goes, his owner said it’s just one of the cute guy’s quirks. “He’s done it all his life, and he just does it because he’s quirky. He isn’t in pain, he hasn’t been declawed, it’s just something that he does,” owner Andy Park wrote in a Facebook message. George now has his own Instagram under the name George2legs. Very clever name. There you can follow all his standing up action on a daily basis. He currently has 28.5k followers, so I guess I am not the only one that gets a kick out of this crazy cat.
