Full House is the popular 90s sitcom that focused on the fundamentals of a diverse family. Living in San Francisco are three men who live together to help raise three young girls. The father, Danny Tanner, lost his wife in a car accident. He recruits the help of his brother-in-law, Jesse, and his comedian friend, Joey, to help him take on the task of raising his daughters. The comedy series first aired almost 30 years ago in 1987 and had 8 seasons before finally calling it quits in 1995. Although you may have grown up with this hilarious series, I am sure you didn’t know all of these Full House facts, at least I know I didn’t.
1. The Tanner home is located at 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco, but only one episode was actually recorded there.

2. D.J. is the only main character who’s not in every episode. She didn’t appear in “Subterranean Graduation Blues.”

3. Before the show ever came about, Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey) was an usher in Bob Saget’s wedding.
4.Jesse had more careers than any character on the show. Some include: Exterminator, Elvis Impersonator, Assistant Kid’s Show Host (Mr. Egghead and Ranger Joe), Radio Show DJ, Pop Star, & Club Owner.

5. Uncle Joey used to date Alanis Morissette. After their break up, she wrote the hit song, “You Oughta Know“.

6. For Stephanie Tanner’s dance moments, Jodie Sweetin brought in her real-life dance teacher and friends. She danced with them in real life and wanted them to join her for the routines.

7. Mary-Kate and Ashley used to call all the cast members by their character names off set so they wouldn’t mess up during filming.

8. Because Mary Kate & Ashley were losing teeth at different times, they had to wear fake teeth when they were filming.

9. There was supposed to be a ninth season. ABC wanted to let go of the show, and The WB was ready to pick it up, but several cast members announced that they were ready to leave, so the show ended after season eight.

10. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen landed the role of Michelle because they were the only two babies who didn’t cry during the auditions. But they almost got fired because John Stamos couldn’t stand their crying on the set.

11. Joey has a teaching degree and a pilot’s license in the show.

12. Comet, the Tanner’s beloved Golden Retriever, also played the original Buddy in the movie Air Bud.

13. Did you know that DJ’s boyfriend Steve is the voice of Aladdin?

14. Throughout the first season, the mannequin in Joey’s room always wears the same shirt that Dave is wearing in the episode.

15. By 1991, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were making $25,000 an episode … each!
I remember as a kid watching every episode every day after school. I could probably quote a few episodes too, but to be honest, I didn’t know almost all of these Full House Facts. Were you a Full House fan?
