Using natural products to create art is always something I would rather do than using store-bought supplies. Incorporating natural elements into art is on of my favorite things about creating something. I love the outdoors, so incorporating that into something I’m creating just seems to come naturally. Well these people decided this was the route they wanted to go to created their new fish tank. From looking at the pictures I have to say they did a phenomenal job. I’ve always felt bad for fish that just have to swim around in a simple bowl. I’m sure fish enjoy swimming around in something that somewhat resembles their natural habitat just as much as any animal does. Check out how simple it was for these people to create this amazingly authentic fish tank!
They started out by simply cutting down some branches from a tree.
They grabbed some little twigs and drilled holes into the branch to stick them into.
They zip tied some rocks to the branches to help weight them down. Then they added some fake leaves and moss to the branches.
They added dirt soil to the tank and secured the branches into the ground.
This looks incredibly cool and hopefully makes these fish feel a little more at home.
This place actually reminds me a lot of the forest moon of Endor from Star Wars.
This is one of the coolest fish habitats I’ve ever seen.
These fish look right at home here.
This is an awesome project, and it seriously took very little effort on the fish owner’s part. I’m sure the little fishes appreciate the attention to detail their owners put in to this. I used to have fish when I was little, and I never really put much thought into the tanks they live in. Having something that looks a little like their natural home probably takes a lot of stress off these fish, and stress can actually be a big killer of fish. Hopefully these little guys love their new home.
