These Mirrored Fences Become Invisible By Camouflaging With The Seasons

Artist Alyson Shotz graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and then continued her art studies at the University of Washington.

She came up with a new piece of art called the Mirror Fence. This was made by installing 138 ft x 36 x 4 fence made from acrylic, wood, and aluminum. The mirrored finish reflects whatever the surrounding landscape is.

The reflection showing off the grass and leaves.

It must be fall time.

It looks beautiful in the winter time.

From this picture, it looks like it’s a white fence.

Sometimes it captures the shadow giving it an impression that its multi-colored.

You can barely see the fence from a distance.

It must take a lot of work to keep it clean.

Sometimes it will turn into a fully green fence.

The best part about her artwork is that it will always change based off the season, so that you never get bored with the same ol’ fence.
