Erik Johansson, a Swedish photographer and graphic artist who loves to take real scenes and turn them into something absurdly but intriguingly imaginary. These photos may make your brain hurt a bit, but they are definitely worth looking at. I honestly could stare at these all day, just like I used to when I looked at M.C. Escher’s work when I was younger. Photoshop has definitely changed how we look at pictures, making it hard to believe what is real and what’s not.

Does your brain hurt now? It’s really amazing what people can do with a little bit of creativity, and a whole lot of knowledge on how Photoshop works. I wonder if Erik Johansson will end up being the next M.C. Escher or if the fact that he uses Photoshop will be held against him.
