Wildlife can be extremely unpredictable. As we encroach more and more on to wild animals habitats, the likelihood that we encounter wild creatures becomes greater and greater. While this is no fault of the wild animal, we have to do what we have to, to protect our life and property. That’s exactly what happens in this next video. Coyotes aren’t usually a problem in the middle of the city. That is why the owners of this little dog didn’t see any problem with leaving him outside on a chain for a few minutes. Little did they know however that a coyote was lurking out in the field next to their house. As I mentioned before, the city isn’t usually a place you find coyotes. So they had absolutely no idea that this coyote would come dashing out of the field and snatch up their tiny dog. What happens next though is truly incredible. I would never seen this coming.
That dog is a true hero! That little dog was an easy meal for a hungry coyote, that is until his big friend came along. The owners of the small dog are really lucky this bigger dog feels an attachment to the little one. I can’t think of another reason that dog would stick its neck out for another animal. Luckily this story had a happy ending and everyone is safe and sound….except maybe the coyote.
