Dog Rescued From River In Incredible Helicopter Rescue

There have been many heroic rescues that we have seen over the years, but this one may just take the cake! This poor dog had found its way to a very fast-moving river. Once in the water, this dog was struggling to stay afloat and in turn, trying to stay alive. Luckily for this dog, he had some heroes that came to his rescue. Luckily for us, the entire scene of a dog rescued from a river was caught on camera by NBC4 Los Angeles.

Firefighters had responded to another emergency at Warner Brothers Studio nearby the fast-moving Los Angeles river. When they were on their way back to their firehouse, they saw this poor puppy struggling in the water and knew they had to do something about it.

The firefighters were able to rescue this puppy and ensure his safety back on the ground. Unfortunately this dog does not have a microchip, so they are currently waiting for the owners to come forward. For now, this dog is staying a local animal shelter where he is getting a lot of love. The firefighters that rescued him have named him Lucky, until they find out his actual name. But it’s not hard to figure out why they named him that.

It’s amazing the things that firefighters do when they see another living being in danger, whether it’s a human or an animal. These guys are true heroes!

Hopefully Lucky’s owners come forward soon, but if not, I have a feeling that there will be a long line of people wanting to adopt him. I’m still in awe over the dedication these firefighters have toward their community. The community was incredibly happy to see this dog rescued from a river by these brave men.
