Dog Owner Transforms His Apartment Patio Into Play Area So His Dog Can Still Play

Living in a city can be somewhat of an issue for dog owners. Most dogs love nothing more than to run around and be crazy. However, when you live an urban, developed area it can be hard to find the space to let your dog be a dog. Living in a high-rise apartment can make this even more troublesome. Well the owners of this little pup decided to give their furry friend a little slice of doggy heaven. Check out what these people did with this balcony dog play area.

The owners decided to draw up some plans for how they could turn their balcony into a nice little hang out area of their dog.

The balcony they had is about three times this size. They decided instead of just letting this space go to waste, they would do something awesome for their pup!

Light timber was cut to size to make a picket style fence. They nailed the picket fence to a piece of plywood to make for easier rearranging of the fences.

A simple coat of white paint is the last thing on the fence.

They added some synthetic grass to accent the whole area and give it the feeling of being outside as much as they could.

Adding some flowers and even a personalized sign makes this little puppy getaway something special.

This really didn’t take a lot of work on the owner’s part, but the results are pretty cool. Even though it isn’t much space, it is a little getaway for a dog who probably has a lot on his table (don’t they all?).
