Jaws has nothing on this nightmare fish. The rarely sighted “Frilled Shark” was caught by David Guillot off of the coast of Australia. It has been called the Dino Shark. This beauty’s ancestry dates back 80 million years, so the name Dino Shark is very fitting. It is such a rare site to see, that the South East Trawl Fishing Association said that they were not able to find any fisherman that has ever seen one. I don’t know about them, but I am glad to never have crossed paths with this.
Its head resembles an eel.

But it has the tail of a shark.

And get this, it has 300 teeth. There are 25 rows of them, and they are razor-sharp. Nothing going in there is ever getting out alive.

No thank you.

It really does look prehistoric. I wonder how long it will be until we see another one. Recent studies have shown that there are approximately 10 times more fish in the sea than previously thought. There are still new ones to be discovered. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
