As a child, I never really understood borders. I mean it all looked the same to me. What was the significance? You crossed over an invisible line and it meant you were in a whole new place. That seemed very odd to me. Think about the randomness of it all. We are all just born into this world in random places. I was born on one piece of land within a certain border. And you onto another. Some people seem more fortunate to be born in better places than others. Think about how different your life would be if you were born into a different border. For some people who could mean the difference of just 10 feet.
