Some people are good at fitness and some are good at art. People like myself aren’t really good at either. But the people who are good at both like cyclist Anthony Hoyle likes to really show off their skills. He creates stunning images by spending hours using the fitness app called “Strava” which is a GPS cycle app to help him navigate. And this time, he decided to do it with a little holiday spirit.
Cyclist Anthony Hoyte has a very creative hobby of riding his bike around town to draw incredible images with his fitness app.

His most recent one of a reindeer took 9 hours of riding around London to complete and it’s awesome.

This isn’t the first time that he’s combined his love for cycling into art. He’s actually done quite a few. Last year, he spent over 4 hours creating this Santa.

He says he does this by studying maps and looks for existing shapes in roads. He says it’s similar to spotting pictures in clouds.

He even competed in the Bristol Cycling Festival Strava Art Competition in 2017 and took 1st place.

He started drawing a few years ago and has quite the portfolio already.

He plans on doing plenty more using the Strava fitness app.

He does a variety of different drawings outside of just holiday images.

This snowman was from 2017 that he ended up using as a Christmas greeting card.

He said, “In a sense I’ve made a rod for my own back in that it’s become a tradition and everyone was saying: ‘So what’s it going to be this year?’
“I made a couple of mistakes but they’re so small that nobody’s going to notice really. I’m happy. It looks how I wanted it to look.”
