As people with big hearts and lots of emotion, when we see someone in need, we will band together to make sure help is available. Most of the time, in the news, people can seem pretty terrible and while evil is out there, I like to think that were are still good. The majority of us want better, happier, more generous lives. We seem to band together when we see an injustice and this especially holds true when it comes to our four-legged fluffy friends. Recently I came across a heart-breaking story that broke my heart, melted my heart, and filled my heart all within a couple of days of following. This is the story of Jubilee the Husky from New Jersey. Jubilee is a 4-year-old husky who was abandoned by a breeder who thought she was too “weird-looking” to sell. So he dropped her off at a shelter where she would have met her demise. Well there is a silver lining but it didn’t come easy.
Jubilee was abandoned at a shelter because she was too “weird-looking” to sell.
Jubilee was brought to the Husky House, which is a husky specific rescue group who understood just how special Jubilee was. A lot of people talked about adopting her but no one pulled the trigger and went through with it.
The Husky House posted pictures of Jubilee and her sad story and a community of animal lovers came together and overnight the Husky House received many adoption forms for her. Jubilee’s life was about to change for the better.
Because of the over 50 thousand shares on Facebook Jubilee found her perfect forever family. She had a health checkup and everything looked great. She was finally ready to meet her new family.
She ended up with a family who has already adopted some huskies from the Husky House and now has two fur-siblings just as beautiful as she is.
The internet can be a cruel place but there was nothing but love for Jubilee on the Husky House Facebook page.
Many loving families wanted to adopt Jubilee. But she was in a shelter for 2 years and people would walk past and laugh. It breaks my heart to hear that.
She is so unique, that’s what makes her so beautiful.
This is incredible! I hope her new family hangs it in their home with pride.
She has no idea that she looks different. She just knows to love and be loved.
I see no flaws either, just an extra special dog who needs some love asap and some special treatment for her tough past.
A husky is a breed that requires extra special attention. Only husky owners know just how fun these dogs can be.
These potential adopters live too far away but their intent sure is respected. Husky House only adopts to people who are local so they can do a home inspection and make sure that all dogs find a perfect forever home.
This statement should be bolded and brought to everyone’s attention who holds sympathy for Jubilee. There are many dogs who need as much love as Jubilee in your area.
I respect the Husky House rules. You never know someones intentions with an adoptable rescue pet. There are cases where they end up somewhere worse than a shelter.

Jubilee is now with her forever home and is being showered with love, attention and all the cuddles she could ask for.
