They say it’s not work if you love what you do. This probably holds true if you also love where you work. The majority of offices around the world are bland, boring isolated places in which having fun is definitely out of the question. Here are 12 companies who have taken a different approach and fuel their employees creativity and attitude with some of the most amazing offices I have ever seen. These are places I would love to show up to every morning and you would have a hard time getting me to leave at night. Wait, did I just say I would want to work more? These employers must be on to something here. These offices are absolutely amazing.

A lot of the floors are hardwood so their employees can skate from office to office.

Nobody at Dropbox has an office. The space is open and they also have a cafe which includes a world-renowned chef.

Employees are allowed to work wherever they’d like.

The space is open with very few offices.
3. Facebook

Located in Palo Alto, California.

Facebook has over 25,000 employees.

The location is airy and spread out.

They offer locations where employees can relax and socialize as well.
4. Nokia

Nokia is located in Keilaniemi, Espoo, just outside Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

They employ over 100,000 people in over 120 countries.

They have bright colors throughout.

Offering wide open spaces to promote socializing and creativity.
5. Urban Outfitters

They are headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

They have a little under 20,000 full-time employees.

You can see they have large rooms that are open to help with the free-flowing design.

They can hold meetings while over looking Philadelphia.

They add a lot of greenery to keep the place feeling lively.

Located in Billund, Denmark.

They have a little over 13,000 employees worldwide.

They offer games to help employees relax during a stressful work day.

They have about 3000 employees although there have been layoffs recently.

They definitely want their headquarters to be a relaxing space to work.

It looks like a diner with video games.

They offer a ton of food options that are both healthy and unique.

They make life easy for their employees,

They offer shuttles to their employees to help with the commute.

They constantly have people coming in to speak with employees, motivating them.

They like their employees to be fit and healthy.

They’re concerned about the environment, offering a lot of green improvements.

How fun would it be to work at any of these places. They are designed to inspire, to fuel creativity and promote a happy attitude. They are obviously doing something right because these companies have an enormous net worth. I think that more companies should think along these lines and I’d be willing to bet they will get a better performance out of their employees.
