We have seen a lot of houses made out of some unique fixtures. Houses that require creativity, dedication and a lot of thinking outside of the box. This house is the same way and it sure won’t disappoint.

What started out as a normal looking church with a graveyard. Yes, a graveyard.

Turned into a one of a kind house.

The church was originally built in 1792, so the couple wanted to maintain as much of the building’s classic architecture as possible.

While sofas and beds have replaced pews, the integrity of the architecture remains – you can even find the old cemetery within the churchyard.

Their renovation included electricity, underfloor heating and state-of-the art appliances

All while keeping the church charm.

The couple, Ian Bottomley and Sally Onions have grown accustomed to these kinds of details.

Now it has 4/5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. 2 reception rooms and two kitchens inside.

Huge vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows appear in most of the rooms, and a baptismal font also remains

The couple has made this house their own.

While keeping the old charm

What did you think? Would you take an old church and make it into your home?
