San Francisco Family Discovers Preserved Little Girl In A Casket Under Garage During Remodel

Home renovations are a stressful process. I remember when I was a kid, my dad put an addition onto our house. We couldn’t use the kitchen or one of our bathrooms for about 3 months (I know, I know. First world problems). The home renovation is stressful enough in itself, but you always have to worry about problems arising as well. Well this family in San Francisco found out the hard way that not all home renovation complications come from construction matters. While digging underneath their house, they made a shocking discovery that would probably make me just want to move out right then and there.

This is the container they found. It was made out of wood and glass. It was sealed shut so they had to break it open.

When they did finally get it open, they discovered a little girl’s body inside. They had discovered a casket underneath their house!

This would be unsettling to find, yet incredible at the same time. It would definitely make you wonder if there was anyone else buried underneath your home. Apparently the little girls remains were left behind when a cemetery that used to sit on the spot the residential neighborhood was constructed on was moved to a different location. Unfortunately, remains turn up in residential construction in the area from time to time. Hopefully these remains can be properly reburied, and no other bodies are discovered during the renovation.
