Heather Hansen is an artist who uses a unique method to create her masterpieces. She is not like most artists who use a pencil or a brush to create her works of art. She actually uses a tool she is much more comfortable with, her body. She prefers charcoal and canvas as her medium, but she uses her entire body as her brush. The surface she works with is huge and she literally rolls around performing organic movements while transferring charcoal art onto the canvas. Take a look at the geometric shapes she creates in her charcoal art using only her body and some charcoal on giant canvases.
Watching her is a performance in itself.

The finished product is one of a kind and completely different to her mood.

She completely engulfs herself into her work.

She gets covered in charcoal, but it’s part of the rawness of her art.

It is quite the spectacle watching her perform, which has attracted quite the fan base.

Using only her body she creates some enormous masterpieces that show natural movement and beauty.

She pours her heart and soul into each and every piece of artwork that she creates.

She adds different elements by using different colors of charcoal as well.

Her work is incredibly unique and personal. She releases her emotion onto giant canvases using her entire body and fluid motions. What she creates is nothing short of amazing and raw. I love that you can feel the emotion in each image she creates. Check out her website HERE
