This Calligraphy By Artist Seb Laster Is Oddly Satisfying To Watch

With the birth of the internet and overwhelming advancements with computers, the future of the pen and paper are looking quite bleak. I have high hopes that this will help you, as is has me, learn to appreciate and savor the artistry and talent of everything from basic penmanship to the mastery of calligraphy. I have just spent hours getting lost in the beauty and elegance of what Seb Lester has created. Taking a single word, this man has been able to create pieces of art, most of which he just calls ‘sketches.’ It’s not just the final product that is a thing of beauty, but also the elegance and precision of putting ink to paper. I know what you’re thinking; there are millions of beautiful fonts that you can download and use to make some nice calligraphy. After watching a few of Seb Lester’s videos, you’ll understand that calligraphy is truly an amazing art form. Take a few moments to watch some of the videos and notice how the strokes seem to wisp away your stresses and preoccupations, as words are transformed into works of art.
