Burger King released ‘real meals’ which is essentially ‘unhappy meals’ for people with different moods including ‘The Pissed Meal’, ‘Salty Meal’, Y’AAAS Meal’ and ‘DGAF Meal’.

No one is happy all the time. That’s the message Burger King is trying to communicate with a lineup of burger meals focused on “real” moods to help raise awareness about mental health.

They say they are doing it to address the important of mental health and to celebrate being yourself and feeling however you want to feel.

They have partnered with Mental Health America for the launch of this new campaign.

The effort also pokes fun at McDonald’s, which markets Happy Meals, boxed kids’ deals that include a toy.

“A natural extension of encouraging people to ‘be their way’ is encouraging them to ‘feel their way,’” a press release reads. “With the pervasive nature of social media, there is so much pressure to appear happy and perfect. With Real Meals, the Burger King brand celebrates being yourself and feeling however you want to feel.”
